Overview
PPHL
Group was founded by Dr. Budiono Widodo and has a long history in timber
industries. Our origins go back three decades to the incorporation of
chipboard factory at Singapore in 1977. In order to take advantage of
Singapore’s Generalized Systems of Preferences for exports of plywood to
Europe, we expanded the company to produce WBP Plywood.
In
1989, the management invested about USD 100 million to set up an
integrated timber complex capable of producing about 240,000 m3 of plywood
related products in East Malaysia. In 1995, our
group was listed in the stock exchange of Hong Kong. Thereafter, we have
expanded
our businesses into China, USA and other countries.
PRINCIPAL
ACTIVITIES
Through our subsidiaries, our Group is principally engaged in the
manufacture, distribution, and sales of wood related products. Our main
products are plywood, floorings, jamb and mouldings, structural products
and other wood related products. Our products are sold internationally
with major markets being Japan, Europe, USA, China, Hong Kong, Korea,
Taiwan, South East Asia and Middle East.
